For Halloween this year1, I bought Kevin The Evil Dead on DVD. He’s seen it and its sequels a hundred times but now he can sigh over Bruce Campbell in the privacy of his own home.
So we happened to watch ED last night – nothing like winding down at the end of a hard work week with a little creamed-corn-dyed-green zombie barf.
Then coincidentally, whilst making my usual Saturday blog rounds this morning, I found this brainy gem2:

On the Tube this is billed as a parody, but I beg to differ: only bad videos are parodied. Stunning works of art such as Shoes inspire homage.

The first Evil Dead scared the bejesus out of me! Those are like the scariest, ugliest, grossest undead creatures ever. And my son is a huge fan of ED and its sequels. But……I didn’t get the video. Then again, I’m impossibly old and un-hip!
How do you find these things?! Don’t feel bad, Darlene. I had to watch the “Shoes” video before I caught on! BTW, Chad also loves the ED movies, has all of them on DVD.
