Elliot Bay Books has a great used section, and today I got an unexpected, totally cool gift-with-purchase.

I love finding stuff like this - a vivid moment in somebody’s life, preserved in celluloid.

What I love most about this particular moment is how while the guys are in various degrees of blur, the girl in the middle is always in perfect focus.

    Reminds me of the movie Amelie, where she is obsessed in finding out who the guy in the picture she found is . :)

    Lachlan - Are we dingbats or what to pass up a perfectly good opportunity to immortalize our dorky selves! :) Yes, I am sure it was a bookmark; it’s about the right shape and size. And if it wasn’t a bookmark then, it is now! ;)

    PhoneFem, I was in one of those booths for a cousin’s wedding a few months ago. Nothing like having a full-color souvenier of your drunk-ass self!
