1. October is coming outside and smelling wood smoke in the air – Autumn!
2. Palin and other would-be book-banners scare me!
3. Leaves are falling all around, it’s raking season.
4. My favorite horror movie is “The Silence of the Lambs” because a good director knows you don’t have to torture, maim, or rape on camera to make your audience lose their shit.
5. Good friends = good memories - most of the time.
6. “It was a dark and stormy night” always reminds me of a “Peanuts” cartoon my dad had stuck to his study wall – something about Snoopy and Tolstoy. I didn’t get the joke. “Peanuts” was over my head? Now THAT’s scary.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to _____’, tomorrow my plans include _____ and Sunday, I want to _____! [Editors note: I honestly have no idea what I am doing this weekend. I haven't thought that far ahead and it's too early in the morning right now. I am sure I'll do something fun...or maybe I'll just sit around and check Facebook compulsively until Monday.
